Qualifications
Education: High school diploma and must be in final phases of completing an HR, Business or Management degree program. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum one (1) year of related work experience, as well as proficiency in office management duties. Human Resources/Training experience a plus.
Skills: Must possess the ability to exchange information on factual matters, schedule appointments, greet visitors, explain CSAAC policies, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel. Demonstrates courtesy and tact when dealing with internal and external customers. Ability to multi-task with accuracy required.Computer literacy required with a proficiency in standard business software applications (e.g., MS Office Suite). Must possess analytical skills to gather and interpret data for multiple reporting deadlines.
Essential Hr Functions
Assists Recruiter with scheduling interviews and administering appropriate pre-employment testing as instructed.
Performs data entry and scanning for applicant tracking.
Conducts employment reference checks and verifications.
Follows up with applicant to ensure completion of new hire checklist.
Assists with file retention for filled positions and destruction as instructed.
Types offer letters and assembles new employee folders, maintains supply of new hire folders.
Assists applicants and employees in applying for available positions. Provides directions in completing applications.
Proactively tracks employee referral program and provides required information to the Finance Department.
Assists in acting as the receptionist for the department which includes answering phones and directing internal and external customers to appropriate HR team members.
Completes monthly compliance reports as instructed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (cont’d)
Assists in gathering and viewing employee files for HR audits and other requests for documents as needed.
Completes employee database entry and updating as instructed.
Responsible for maintenance of employee records, both electronic and paper. Includes updating various electronic records and general filing.
Assists employees with HR record change requests and is proficient with HRIS functions.
Proficient in use of CIMS system to communicate with employees as appropriate.
Performs other HR duties as assigned.
Essential Training Functions
Serves as the point of contact for the training department; represents CSAAC’s training department in a professional, friendly manner.
Oversees new hires through the initial training period to ensure they receive all required training within the allotted timeframe.
Coordinates with all levels of personnel to ensure that recertification training is completed to maintain compliance throughout the organization.
Assists with the management of the Learning Management System.
Manages the training facility and logistical coordination:
Schedules and coordinates the use of the training rooms and equipment.
Sets up the training rooms for trainings and meetings.
Prepares training materials.
Assists trainers with audio-visual equipment.
Responsible for processing Medication Technician initial and renewal applications and verifying that Medication Technician certifications are current.
Maintains a close communication flow with: Director of Training, Trainers, HR, and Program Managers and Directors.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
