Job description

Job Overview:

The Manufacturing Implementation Specialist is responsible for the successful implementation of manufacturing processes and systems to optimize efficiency and productivity within our clients' operations. This role will work closely with various departments to ensure that production goals are met, and that the transition to new systems is smooth and effective. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute the implementation of manufacturing systems and processes for new projects.
  • Collect and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and optimize manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with production teams to train employees on new processes and systems.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including implementation plans, schedules, and status reports.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups and assessments to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions during the implementation process.
  • Act as a liaison between management and the manufacturing teams to facilitate communication and ensure project alignment.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process enhancement and recommend best practices to improve overall production efficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing implementation or process improvement roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and manufacturing software/tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams at various levels.
  • Project management experience is preferred, along with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies is a plus.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
