THE TEAM
The Core Data Services org serves primarily internal customers comprised of business units and analytics teams across the entire Live Nation enterprise. Within Core Data Services, our Business Intelligence (BI) Team plays a critical role in delivering impactful BI solutions that drive decision making. Our team is responsible for building strong partnerships with stakeholders, understanding their unique needs, and developing the business intelligence assets that empower teams and initiatives. By providing meaningful insights, we enable our organization to better serve artists, fans, and our business as a whole.
THE ROLE
As a key cross-functional partner, you will work with stakeholders across the organization to gain meaningful insights into user needs and internal customers. You will collaborate closely with the BI Engineering Team, and will be responsible for gathering user requirements and providing optimized BI solutions to enhance decision-making. Your efforts will help build & maintain a comprehensive, self-service, data-driven view of our global operations while identifying future opportunities for growth and innovation. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Define and drive the BI product vision and roadmap, aligning it with business goals and evolving analytics needs to ensure the most valuable work is prioritized and gets done first.
Act as the bridge between technical and business teams, translating complex data requirements into actionable BI solutions, making sure what gets built aligns with real-world needs.
Actively contribute and take a hands-on approach to create data products and prototypes in order to gain a deep understanding of our user base and their challenges. Then leverage these insights to drive innovation and propose impactful data solutions that meets users’ needs.
Advocate for user-centric design in BI solutions, ensuring ease of use, adoption, and actionable insights for a diverse set of stakeholders so teams can easily get the insights they need without extra friction.
Keep an eye on adoption and impact using feedback, tool usage, and tickets to fine-tune our BI products over time.
Identify and promote adoption of valuable assets while streamlining the user experience by identifying and archiving outdated or redundant assets.
Work across multiple business and tech teams to define, prioritize, and roll out new products, enhancements, and improvements across our data platforms.
Conduct data analysis to identify or reconcile data differences among different platforms, including multiple international data lakes and sources, each containing source of truth elements that must be combined into a single authoritative global data platform.
Measure and improve BI product success, leveraging usage and user feedback to continuously enhance data products.
Ensure data integrity, security, and governance across BI platforms while optimizing performance and scalability.
Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, empowering teams with self-service analytics and intuitive reporting solutions.
Stay on top of industry trends in BI and data discovery—know what’s coming and how it impacts our org.
Drive continuous improvements to our products, tools, and processes by sharing learnings, constructive feedback, and input with internal technical and analytics teams.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the analytics needs of the international business, the global business context of the data, and the data/tooling landscape and roadmap.
Partner with our Core Data Services teams to maintain accurate & consistent documentation.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
5+ years’ experience in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence in an entertainment or B2C environment
Excellent understanding of traditional and modern business intelligence technologies
Excellent communicator with superior written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills; ability to narrate complex stories with data and be concise with insight about how the data drives outcomes for leadership and stakeholders
Strong analytical skills with the ability to engage with business users, understand functional problems
Proven track record of leading large-scale international product implementations through all phases of product lifecycle
High level of autonomy in a global, fast-paced environment, with excellent time management skills to resolve multiple interrupt-driven priorities concurrently.
Committed and able to adapt quickly; ability to work autonomously while ensuring that new knowledge is shared with other teams
Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity; “no job too big or too small” mentality
Extensive knowledge of data management and analysis tools including Databricks, Domo, Cognos, Looker & Tableau. Big Query and Google Analytics are a plus.
Extensive knowledge and experience in designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end BI solutions (data integration, pipelines creation, data visualization, data quality, data analysis, visualizations, automated reports, BI systems alerting and failure notification process.)
Extensive knowledge and understand of data modeling principles using Kimball methodology, including the design of fact and dimensional tables
Excellent understanding of the needs of a growing international market and needs of a global user base.
Excellent understanding of global privacy rules and regulations.
Bachelor’s degree ideally in a business or quantitative subject (e.g. computer science, mathematics, engineering, science, economics or finance)
Passion for live music and the concert experience

The expected compensation for this position is:
$137,000.00 USD - $172,000.00 USD** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
