We’re looking for an Education Specialist (m/f/d) for Youth Engagement with hands-on experience in designing and delivering engaging educational activities—such as online challenges, school competitions, hackathons, and site visits—and who knows how to communicate these effectively to young learners, educators, and schools. You’ll bring creativity, energy, and structure to our outreach and events, ensuring participants feel inspired, included, and connected.

Your Mission and Responsibilities

  • Youth Engagement & Community Building: Develop and implement programmes that engage secondary school students and teachers across Europe. Facilitate meaningful learning experiences through events, challenges, and direct communication with participants.
  • Event Design & Delivery: Plan and manage interactive events such as school competitions, site visits, hackathons, and youth-led campaigns—both online and in-person—ensuring smooth logistics, educational value, and high impact.
  • Communication & Outreach: Lead communications targeting students and teachers—through newsletters, campaigns, toolkits, and onboarding content. Use clear, youth-friendly language and innovative formats to boost participation and engagement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with schools, education authorities, NGOs, industry partners, and youth organisations to co-create and deliver outreach activities that reflect the needs and realities of diverse learners.
  • Content Co-Creation: Collaborate with the wider team to ensure events and outreach activities are aligned with curricular goals and integrate seamlessly with our digital learning platform.
  • Monitoring & Feedback: Collect and analyse feedback from participants and partners to evaluate success and continuously improve the youth engagement strategy.

Requirements

Essential:

  • At least 3 years of experience in education, youth engagement, or event/project coordination in an international context.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering educational events or challenges for young people.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, especially when targeting school-aged audiences.
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder collaborations, ideally across multiple countries.
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects creatively from concept to delivery.
  • Excellent English skills (written and spoken).

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with EU-funded or large-scale educational projects.
  • Knowledge of digital skills, sustainability, or entrepreneurship education.
  • Experience using communication tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, social media, or community platforms.
  • Multilingual skills
