The Patient Care Manager will be responsible for managing initiatives related to patient engagement, education, and support. They will act as a bridge between our company and patient associations, ensuring alignment with both our strategic goals and the needs of the patient community.

Role purpose and key responsibilities:

  • Project leadership – ability to lead cross-functional projects from ideation through execution.
  • Health industry experience – ideally with exposure to medical devices, pharma, or healthcare services.
  • Experience working with patient associations – understanding the ecosystem and stakeholder dynamics.
  • Team player – must be highly collaborative and able to navigate a matrix environment.
  • Proactive and self-managed – someone who doesn’t wait to be told what to do.
  • Resilient and diligent – able to deal with pressure, setbacks, and administrative challenges.
  • Process-oriented mindset – capable of structuring and managing operational and bureaucratic workflows.

Requirements and qualifications you will need to be successful:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in management roles, preferably within healthcare, patient advocacy, or nonprofit organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Nursing, Healthcare Management, Public Health, Communication, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in Healthcare, Business Administration, Marketing, or related areas is a strong plus and/or Certifications in Project Management, Patient Advocacy, or Healthcare Compliance are desirable.Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proven track record in leading projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience working with or managing relationships with patient associations or advocacy groups.
  • Experience navigating healthcare-related bureaucracy and regulatory processes is highly desirable.

Location:

  • Full-time position based in SP.
  • Availability to travel occasionally (25%).

Type of contract:

  • Indefinite-term - Regular LivaNova contract.
