We are looking for a curious, empathetic, and proactive product expert who is excited to work through ambiguity and deliver exceptional user experiences and lasting value to our customers.
The Principal Product Manager will collaborate closely with user research, design and engineering teams, deliver homeowner-facing products, from strategy through execution. You’ll champion forward-thinking, practical product development and unite diverse stakeholders through collaboration, creative problem-solving, and persuasive storytelling. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience guiding product development from inception to realization alongside interdisciplinary product teams.

What You’ll Do:
- Own the product roadmap for First American’s premier homeowner platform, defining the product vision and strategy, and mapping business and customer needs across the customer lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders, fostering alignment within the team as well as across key stakeholders.
- Be a hands-on leader of the development process, owning prioritization, requirement definition, and management of agile processes and ceremonies.
- Develop a comprehensive strategy for measuring success, validating progress through qualitative milestones and quantitative metrics.
- Craft clear, concise messaging for diverse audiences, ensuring alignment across technical teams, business units and executive stakeholders.
- Create and deliver executive-level presentations that effectively communicate product vision, roadmap progress and key performance indicators.
- Identify design and research needs and interpret the product implications of findings, to create a feedback-informed roadmap.
- Lead by example with team members and stakeholders, elevating their product proficiencies.
- Actively contribute to cultivating a robust customer-obsessed product culture.
What You’ll Bring:
- A track record of delivering new product experiences in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment; setting a vision for the product and meeting measurable milestones.
- Expertise in product strategy, agile methodologies, day-to-day management of interdisciplinary teams, and go-to-market execution.
- Deep understanding of and empathy for user needs, desires and behaviors.
- A portfolio showcasing end-to-end product management accomplishments, underscoring your involvement across research, discovery, visual design, and engineering implementation. Highlight your knack for delivering user-loved products that address strategic business challenges.
- Comfort in embracing ambiguity and getting things done, even when “building the plane while flying it”.
- Ability to enroll and inspire both the cross-functional team and executive stakeholders by communicating the value of product solutions.
- A strong desire to pitch in where needed, embodying a true team spirit.
Pay Range: $ 166,750 - $222,325 Annually
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
