Job Summary: Syntax Systems Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge systems for our Fashion clients, focusing on S/4 Fashion (Public or Private Edition). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both business and technology within the Fashion industry, enabling them to create well-defined solutions that align with our clients' objectives. This role involves risk identification, architecture planning, pre-sales leadership, and integration architecture, ensuring that our clients achieve their technological goals efficiently and effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Solution Architect to design and implement systems for Fashion customers, aligning with their current capabilities and future technological goals.
  • Identify and communicate risks associated with application implementations at both the business and enterprise levels in collaboration with the Enterprise Architect.
  • Participate in business and architecture planning sessions, anticipating future changes and strategies.
  • Review and challenge functional specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with the Engagement Director and Project Manager to communicate business process strategies and facilitate review meetings with stakeholders.
  • Define release, deployment, and roll-out strategies for system implementations.
  • Lead pre-sales activities, including tender responses and customer presentations, while providing expert advice on relevant technologies.
  • Coordinate and direct teams of business analysts, functional analysts, and developers throughout all phases of system implementations, ensuring seamless integration into operations.
  • Manage advisor consultants in selecting appropriate solutions and tools, promoting the integrity and integration of solution components.
  • Validate technical and application solutions, addressing complex SAP project challenges and identifying areas for process improvement.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience with SAP Implementations, specifically in SAP AFS, SAP Retail (ECC, FMS), and S/4HANA Fashion.
  • Proven experience in pre-sales activities, blueprinting, Fit to Standard workshops, and integration activities.
  • Strong business acumen within the Fashion Industry, with a deep understanding of relevant business processes and trends in the retail and consumer industries market.
