This is a remote/contractual opportunity.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and cases based on project requirements.
• Conduct manual testing to identify defects and ensure the software meets quality standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using debugging tools such as Chrome DevTools.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using at least one programming language.
• Implement automated testing with tools like Cypress and Selenium.
• Manage and track defects using platforms such as TestRail, BrowserStack, and JIRA.
• Perform API testing (REST/GraphQL) using tools like Postman or Insomnia.
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, utilizing tools like Jenkins.
• Utilize version control systems, such as Git, to manage test scripts and related artifacts.
• Apply knowledge of database fundamentals to perform simple SQL or NoSQL queries (a plus).
• Contribute to performance testing efforts using tools such as Apache JMeter (a plus).
• Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and collaborate effectively within an agile environment.
• Communicate test results, issues, and concerns clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
• Conduct regular regression testing and sanity tests across multiple platforms and environments.

• 3+ years in software testing (manual).
• Automated testing is a plus
• Experience with Cypress
• Test case design, execution, and defect tracking (JIRA, TestRail).
• CI/CD integration with Jenkins, version control (Git).
• Basic SQL/NoSQL knowledge (preferred).
• Performance testing exposure (JMeter is a plus).
• Agile/Scrum experience with strong communication skills.
