About the role: We are seeking a skilled Mid-level developer with experience in Test-Driven Development to join our team. This role involves building high-quality, reliable software solutions while adhering to TDD principles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps.
This is a Full-time Remote (work from home) contract position.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain scalable applications, including desktops, web, and services using Test-Driven Development principles to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
Write execute, and maintain comprehensive tests including unit, integration and end-to-end tests to ensure application reliability and performance.
Test software solutions and meet product quality standards prior to release to QA.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment using DevOps tools.
Work with Azure services such as Azure Blob storage, Azure Functions, and App Services to deploy cloud-native applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product owners and product managers to meet project goals and business requirements.
Develop and manage API and microservices to support various applications and workflows.
Help troubleshoot and debug technical issues in development, testing and maintenance.
Ensure code quality through peer code reviews and adherence to best practices, design patterns and testing standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proficient in multiple languages used in engineering such as C#.
Minimum 3 years of experience with C# while having a minimum of 5 years in engineer roles.
Proficiency in C# with experience in frameworks like .Net Core
Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and knowledge of cloud-based services and infrastructure
Experience with Python is a plus.
Hands-on experience with testing frameworks and tools such as NUnit, PyTest, xUnit, and test-driven development of at least 2 years
Experience working with remote teams.
Experience working on a team with a CI/CD process like Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
Experience with version control systems like Git and collaboration tools like Github.
Understanding of microservice architecture. RESTfuls APIs and cloud deployment strategies.
Strong debugging, problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience with containerization tools such as Docker.
