Frontend Developer

What you will do

• Work closely with design, product management, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactive interfaces across multiple devices 

• Turning UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating excellent interactions from designs, writing reusable snippets & modules and maintainability of the code 

• Implement UI development principles to ensure that the application is scalable 

• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and bring in optimal flow for rapidly changing design/ technology

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer, JavaScript expert or front-end engineer 

• Sound knowledge in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript ES5 & ES6 

• In-depth knowledge of SCSS/SASS CSS pre-processor 

• In-depth knowledge of UI layouts, Bootstrap, CSS Flex box and CSS GRID system ● Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and libraries including jQuery, jQuery UI ● Experience workflow automation tools like Webpack, Gulp, BrowserSync, etc 

• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. 

• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging 

• Proficient understanding of versioning tools and repositories like Git & Github 

• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them. 

• Passionate to create good design and usability 

• A team player with excellent communication skills 

• Knowledge of Accessibility & WCAG 2.0 Level AA, will be a plus 

• Experienced in JS frameworks like ReactJS or Angular, will be a plus
