You'll stay deeply hands-on, own technical problems end-to-end, and work directly with leadership to identify high-impact opportunities, prototype fast, and ship systems that serve millions of users.
Own problems end-to-end, from root cause to working solution, whether that's a product feature, a compliance process, a financial model, or an internal tool
Build AI-native workflows where AI is core to how things work, not bolted on
Move fast from idea to reality. Insight to working output in days, not weeks
Work with proprietary data and intelligence to create value for users and internal teams
Challenge and improve processes. If something is slow, manual, or outdated, redesign it
Work across boundaries. Engineering is home base, but you engage meaningfully with product, data, workflow design, and business context

A track record of shipping real systems from ambiguous problem to production outcome
AI fluency. You already use AI/LLM tools to expand what you can do, and you know where AI adds value vs. where human judgment is essential
Systems thinking. You see upstream causes and downstream effects, and you design solutions that work across boundaries
Data comfort. SQL, dashboards, metrics, spreadsheets. You're not afraid of numbers
Clear communication. You explain complex decisions to people outside your domain
Production discipline. Testing, deployment, observability, iteration. You build things that are operable and safe to evolve
Experience in real estate, proptech, or marketplace platforms
Background building or automating workflows that used to require a full team
Experience with AI/LLM tooling beyond basic chat: RAG, prompt engineering, automation pipelines
Comfort with technical tools, whether code, no-code, APIs, or data pipelines
Base: $150K–$220K CAD + stock options
