Marketing Specialist at FinFit
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Specialist plays a key role in supporting day-to-day marketing operations, especially those that are time-sensitive and client-facing. This position provides hands-on assistance with content development, campaign execution, and administrative tasks that require quick turnaround and close collaboration with internal teams. The ideal candidate is organized, flexible, and collaborative, with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities while delivering high-quality results. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being in the thick of things—jumping in to write, proof, coordinate, and assist in bringing FinFit’s client- and member-facing communications to life.
Qualifications we value
●Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
●2–4 years of experience in a marketing or communications support role.
●Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong editing and proofreading abilities.
●High level of organization and ability to manage shifting priorities and fast deadlines.
●Comfortable with collaborative work and juggling cross-functional requests.
●Experience with project management tools, email and video marketing platforms, and document design tools (e.g., Canva, Marketing Cloud, Microsoft Office, or similar) a plus.
●A self-starter mindset with a willingness to dive in and get things done—no task is too big or too small.
Key responsibilities
Internal & Client-Facing Content Support
•Draft, edit, and format urgent or time-sensitive content such as client announcements and collateral in multiple formats, FAQs, internal email campaigns, and presentation decks.
•Create and edit basic video content to support internal and external marketing communications.
•Ensure all materials align with FinFit’s brand voice and messaging guidelines.
•Partner closely with Sales and Account Management teams to fulfil immediate content needs that drive member growth and engagement.
Administrative & Project Coordination
•Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Marketing and Communications teams, including data reporting and analysis, asset organization, compliance reviews and approvals, and internal documentation.
•Track marketing requests and ensure timely delivery of materials to internal stakeholders.
•Maintain up-to-date records of client communications and marketing assets.
Reactive & Real-Time Communication
•Respond quickly to internal requests that require copywriting, proofreading, or content edits under tight deadlines.
•Coordinate closely with the Directors of Marketing and Communications and our Design team to prioritize workstreams based on urgency and visibility.
