Job description

Job Overview:

PV Safety Analyst is an integral member of the GSPV Business Operations Team, responsible for providing information, guidance and coordination to support all functions within the GSPV organization that will allow it to operate effectively.

In this role, you will be part of our FSPx team and work directly with one of our renowned key sponsor to advance the development of innovative, life-changing medications.

The incumbent will provide implementation of globally aligned processes associated with:

1.Resource demand planning & forecasting

2.Budget & forecast creation & management

3.Analyzing & reporting on GSPV operational and fiscal performance

5.Maintain the current list of GSPV Purchase Oder across business

6.Provide training assistance for GSPV areas with newly developed financial processes

7. Support policies & procedures to streamline billing & collection processes

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Support the maintenance of the GSPV budget by playing a pivotal role in the forecasting, resource management, and financial review and reporting.

  • Facilitate the review and accuracy of the global GSP budgets (spend and internal resource demand) prior to submission to Finance for budget and forecasting cycles.

  • Support facilitation with key GSPV stakeholders to ensure that the required elements of GSPV needs have been incorporate into the GSPV platform budget

  • Liaise with Finance to ensure that the costs included in GSPV program budgets are matched with program strategy.

  • Provide all required GSPV financial inputs into the client R&D finance process

  • Prepare GSPV specific business analysis to justify decisions, such as functional resourcing models, and input into vendor due diligence.

  • Complete regular, executive level reports for use in briefing the GSPV leadership Team on the status of key GSPV programs and coordinate with Finance to ensure all financials so results are stated accurately.

Qualifications (Minimum Required):

  • Degree (Bachelor/Masters/Diploma) in a Business related and/or scientific/medical/pharmaceutical/Financial discipline, preferably combined with relevant GSPV trial experience with a business focus

Experience (Minimum Required):

  • As a guide a minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing departmental budgets
  • Proven ability in financial acumen and working with Industry tools (e.g., Ariba, SAP, Smartcore, BPC, Clarity etc)
  • Experience preparing resource and financial budgets / forecasts.
  • Experience preparing executive level reports
