Job Description:
A T-Shape Data Engineer with expertise in Ab Initio, Talend, is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data infrastructure and pipelines. Good to have experience in Snowflake and AWS.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data integration solutions using Ab Initio and Talend to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Snowflake data warehouses.
- Develop and maintain data models within Snowflake, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and scalability.
- Leverage AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, and EMR to enhance data processing capabilities and support scalable data pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies, including data encryption, access controls, and audit logging.
- Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
Qualification and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a data engineer with expertise in Ab Initio, Talend, Snowflake, and AWS.
- Strong knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Hands on experience in SQL, Python, and scripting languages for data manipulation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
