Responsibilities
- Translating subtitles from English into native language while complying with specified time and formatting requirements
- Proofreading of subtitles in native language ensuring subtitles address the target audience appropriately
- Creation of subtitles in native language (with or without a script as reference) / Spotting
- Performing technical checks on subtitle files to ensure formatting conforms to specified requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- University degree in Translation, Audiovisual Translation or in a language related field
- Native knowledge of the target language andproficient knowledge of the source language (C1-C2 level)
- Two years of experience in Audiovisual Translation
- Excellent knowledge of Subtitling Software
- Precision and attention to detail
- Ability to handle tight deadlines and maintain high standards
