Pratt & Whitney has an immediate remote opportunity within the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Finance organization for a Principal Specialist.

What You Will Do:


We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team and play a key role in managing Global Supply Chain’s ~$550M operating expense budget and ~$8.5B in receipts to drive reductions in the material overhead (MOH) rate.

This dynamic role will involve financial reporting, analysis, process improvements, and cross-department collaboration. You will work closely with teams to ensure the financial health of operations and identify opportunities for efficiency and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cost center owners to manage operating expenses, including monthly analysis and forecasting.

- Partner with procurement and the SIOP team to assess risks and opportunities, ensuring alignment with a ~$8.5B receipt base.

- Consolidate and report on monthly closing activities and variance analysis across 200+ MOH cost centers.


- Participate in weekly meetings and reporting to monitor financial performance and provide necessary updates.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

Qualifications You Must Have:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or supply chain management, with 5+ years of experience in a financial or accounting role; OR an advanced degree in finance, accounting, or supply chain management with 3+ years of experience in a related field.


- Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast accurately.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively report and present financial data to leadership.

- Proven experience working cross-functionally with teams such as procurement, operations, and others.
 

- Proficiency in MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.

Qualifications We Prefer:

- Experience in financial analysis and budgeting for large-scale operations.

- Familiarity with SAP, Business Warehouse, HFM, and other financial management systems.


- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead cross-departmental initiatives to improve processes and financial outcomes.


- Willingness to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing business environment.

Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project

Typically requires:

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

Engineering/Other Technical Positions:

Typically requires a degree in Science,Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
