This role will be part of the Technical Accounting Team within the Global Financial Reporting and Compliance function of Keysight Technologies. The position will support maintaining Keysight’s accounting policies, SOX controls, and M&A analysis. The position will have significant involvement in areas to include, but not limited to, technical accounting policies, purchase price accounting for mergers and acquisitions, and cash repatriation accounting. The position will report to the Accounting Policies and M&A Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintenance of the accounting and finance manual including responding to inquiries
  • Preparation of cash repatriation entries including extensive support documentation
  • Preparation of purchase price accounting and monthly entries for ongoing M&A projects
  • Support of M&A due diligence process
  • Assisting with procedures and documentation of SOX controls related to M&A and accounting policies
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong accounting background/knowledge and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Exhibit intuition and awareness to seek clarification as needed to deliver results
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interact with various levels of finance personnel and can explain complex accounting in succinct manner; a good listener
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
