Director, Corporate Restructuring

This is your opportunity to manage and guide exceptional teams on high-profile Chapter 11 cases and work directly with industry-leading professionals.

What You’ll Do: As a Director, you'll be the cornerstone of case management, orchestrating complex Chapter 11 Corporate Restructuring cases from inception to resolution. Your strategic insights and meticulous attention to detail will directly influence case outcomes and enhance client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and manage professional relationships with clients, Debtor’s Counsel, Restructuring Advisors, and the Court, ensuring transparent communication and superior client service.

  • Proactively anticipate client needs throughout engagements, providing strategic solutions to ensure seamless case progression.

  • Oversee meticulous management of large-scale data and ensure timely and accurate processing of creditor claims and ballots.

  • Direct and manage internal resources, streamlining efficiency and ensuring project timelines and milestones are consistently met.

  • Supervise creditor communications and ensure accurate and timely responses to inquiries related to case statuses, claims, distributions, and other case-specific details.

  • Maintain and monitor court dockets, case calendars, and public websites, providing accurate and accessible case information.

  • Lead the preparation of essential case documents such as Schedules of Assets and Liabilities and Statements of Financial Affairs.

  • Drive continuous improvements in technology and processes to optimize efficiency and better serve our clients.

  • Conduct thorough risk management, proactively mitigating potential project issues.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; JD, Paralegal Certification, or equivalent legal experience highly desirable.

  • Minimum of ten years’ experience in corporate restructuring, bankruptcy, or related fields.

  • Outstanding communication skills with proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated capability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.

  • Proven leadership capabilities and the ability to effectively manage and develop teams.

  • Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

The annual salary for this role is currently $130,000.00-$150,000.00. The Company’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of various factors, including job-related skills, relevant education and experience, abilities of the applicant and equity with other team members.  The salary range listed here is subject to change at any time, at the Company’s discretion, and does not alter in any way the at-will nature of the employment relationship.
