Talent Acquisition Specialist

**Candidate must reside in the Dallas, Texas area**

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full life cycle recruiting for the assigned region or portfolio. To be successful in this position, the associate must be able to build strong relationships with internal and external customers. In addition, possess the ability to actively recruit for a broad range of positions such as sales, maintenance, and customer service roles. 

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Act as a trusted partner and advisor to various management teams in helping develop and execute strategies to recruit talent in the assigned region/ portfolio.
  • Develops and maintains professional working relationships with all internal and external BH stakeholders
  • Maintains an active presence on all relevant job boards and social media sites to continuously add and maintain candidate pools and professional connections
  • Maintains ATS notes and reporting and prepares/provides reports for managers and presentations as needed
  • Assists with creating/updating job descriptions and performance management templates as requested
  • Research and attend industry-relevant networking and/or recruiting events and makes recommendations to improve current recruiting process based on industry trends
  • Manages career/job fair program for the organization
  • Assists with developing and maintaining the company’s interview guides
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience as a corporate recruiter or similar
  • Strong candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
  • Proven understanding of employment laws as they relate to hiring and selection
  • Proficient in MS Office suite  
  • Experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and customers

 

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • A Bachelor’s in Human Resources or applicable field
  • SHRM or PHR/SPHR certification
  • Experience working with an ATS system, preferably Paycom
