Job description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in outbound lead generation, a strong understanding of nearshore staff augmentation, and a passion for building relationships with prospective clients. This role is pivotal in identifying and qualifying opportunities to fuel our sales pipeline and contribute to Perform’s continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and target potential clients through outbound prospecting (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, etc.) to generate new business opportunities in the nearshore staff augmentation space.
  • Qualify inbound leads and nurture them through the early stages of the sales funnel.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to develop and execute targeted outreach strategies.
  • Leverage your knowledge of nearshore staff augmentation to articulate Perform’s value proposition to decision-makers (e.g., IT managers, HR leaders, and C-suite executives).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities and prospect interactions in our CRM system.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and new opportunities within the nearshore staffing industry.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified leads and meetings booked.
  • Represent Perform professionally in all client-facing interactions, building trust and credibility.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience as an SDR or similar role, with a focus on B2B sales.
  • Demonstrated experience in nearshore staff augmentation or IT/services outsourcing sales (required).
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, lead generation, and pipeline management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage prospects effectively.
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and overcoming objections to secure meetings.
