Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join the finance team. Reporting to the CFO, you will manage our accounting day to day operations, including billing and collection, vendor payments, accounting month end close and financial reporting. This role will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in financial records, optimizing accounting processes, and supporting compliance with accounting standards.

What You'll Do: 

  • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of monthly accounting close.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist in financial audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant standards.
  • Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payroll execution.

Billing & Accounts Receivable

  • Manage customer invoicing and payment collections and monitor accounts receivable aging
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure accurate billing and timely cash collection. 

Accounts Payable & Expense Management

  • Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments.
  • Ensure accurate classification and coding of expenses. 

Operational Finance & Compliance

  • Support tax monthly and tax filings and social security fillings.
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Big 4 or CPA firm experience is strongly preferred
  • 6+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a high-growth environment
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Odoo, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally.
