We’re seeking a motivated and talented Sales Development Manager (SDM) to join our dynamic and growing team. This remote role is pivotal in generating, qualifying, and nurturing leads to fuel pipeline growth.

What You’ll Do 

  • Lead, train, and develop a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), enhancing core sales skills such as prospecting, lead qualification, and effective communication.
  • Provide regular 1:1 coaching to refine SDRs’ sales techniques, drive performance, and foster professional growth.
  • Design and implement outbound prospecting strategies to align with company sales and marketing objectives, ensuring efficient lead generation.
  • Target key industries and buyer personas to drive high-quality leads and accelerate pipeline conversion.
  • Monitor team performance using KPIs and CRM tools, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and optimization.
  • Identify performance gaps and provide strategic feedback to enhance results and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations) to refine outbound workflows, improve lead quality, and align strategy.
  • Conduct call reviews and feedback sessions to enhance sales pitches and conversion effectiveness.
  • Champion feedback loops, ensuring SDR insights are leveraged to refine organizational sales strategies.
  • Play a key role in supporting Wayfair Professional’s growth objectives by aligning team efforts with broader revenue goals.

What You'll Need 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (required).
  • Proven experience in a BDR, SDR, or sales role, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity within a B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated success in managing SDR or BDR teams, consistently meeting or exceeding lead generation goals.
  • Excellent coaching and motivational abilities, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Familiarity with sales engagement tools like Outreach or SalesLoft.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across departments.

Industry Experience:

  • Experience in retail or e-commerce is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $65,000-76,500* however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.

*This role includes a performance-driven variable compensation plan. On-target variable compensation averages $27,600/year.
