Job description

Overview:

Cordoba Corporation, a leading engineering firm with headquarters in Los Angeles, CA, is hiring a Proposal Manager to provide business development support across Cordoba’s four business sectors – energy, education/facilities, water, transportation. Members of the proposal team are self-starters who

possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, creatively seek solutions for challenges, are team players ready to support one another, and have a vested interest in Cordoba’s success. You will work closely with our sectors by helping write, synthesize, organize, and curate sales messaging for business development activities and proposals.

Responsibilities:

Lead the proposal development process, including:

  • Analyze RFP documents to understand client requirements and ensure
  • proposal compliance.
  • Conduct kickoff meetings.
  • Develop proposal outlines and schedules.
  • Write, edit, and taylor non-technical proposal sections.
  • Coordinate graphic design support.
  • Coordinator proposal team activities.
  • Facilitate color reviews.
  • Lead and/or support the planning and development of presentation and interviews
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Communications, Marketing, or another related field or
  • demonstrated equivalency
  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to manage concurrent proposals/assignments
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications, particularly Word and InDesign
  • Attention to detail and ability to work within stringent deadlines

 Preferred:

  • Proposal experience in engineering, architecture, environmental, and/or
  • construction industries
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in grammar,
  • punctuation, spelling, and formatting
  • Discipline to work in a remote work environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure dynamic environment

  

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000

Location: California

Work Environment: Remote in California
