UX Writer

As a UX Writer at CSG, you will collaborate closely with product designers, product managers, and engineers to develop language that guides users through our payments products. You will play a critical role in shaping our product’s voice, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accessibility in all user-facing touchpoints.

We are looking for a UX Writer who will:

• Write clear, concise, and engaging microcopy for user interfaces, including buttons, tooltips, error messages, and onboarding flows.

• Define and maintain a consistent voice and tone across our payments products.

• Collaborate with product designers to ensure content enhances usability and supports intuitive navigation.

• Conduct user research and testing to validate language choices and optimize user comprehension.

• Work with cross-functional teams to translate complex financial concepts into simple, digestible content.

• Develop and maintain UX writing guidelines and documentation to ensure consistency across the product.

• Ensure content is inclusive, accessible, and aligned with compliance and regulatory requirements.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, related field or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, or a related field within fintech, e-commerce, or payments

• Strong portfolio showcasing UX writing samples that demonstrate clarity, conciseness, and user-centered design

• Ability to collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to create intuitive user experiences

• Experience conducting user research or usability testing related to content

• Strong understanding of UX principles, design thinking, and information architecture

• Excellent editing and proofreading skills with attention to detail

• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma and content management systems

• Experience working in compliance-heavy industries (e.g., financial services, payments)

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment
