As the key point of contact for all learner-related queries, the LSO plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive and seamless learning experience. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive support to learners, addressing both academic and general support needs. The LSO will manage the administration of learner enrollments, monitor progression, and assist learners throughout their educational journey. Job Description

As an AU RTO Learner Support Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Acting as the main point of contact for learners, addressing and resolving a variety of academic and support-related issues.
  • Administer and manage the enrolment process, ensuring accurate and timely registration of learners.
  • Monitor and support learners' progression throughout their studies, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Maintain and update learner databases, ensuring all records are accurate, timely, and reliable.
  • Deliver high-quality learner experiences and services, striving to achieve high levels of learner satisfaction.
  • Engage with a diverse range of people, including external community members, stakeholders, and internal team members.
  • Uphold high standards of business and administrative practices in line with established principles.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with learners, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Support quality assurance processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize IT and technical skills to support administrative tasks and learner management systems.

Requirements
  • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in an Admin Position or a Learner Support role supporting Australian clients.
  • Experience working for an Australian Client/Business is required.
  • Strong ability to relate to and engage with a diverse range of people.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality learner experiences and services, aiming for high levels of learner satisfaction.
  • High-quality business and administrative skills, adhering to established business principles and practices.
  • Commitment to accuracy, timeliness, and reliability in maintaining databases.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and empathy.
  • Degree qualification, preferably with experience studying on campus at a Western college or university.
  • Experience within a Registered Training Organization (RTO) or similar educational environment.Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficient IT and technical skills.
  • Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of educational systems and learner management platforms.
    • Experience in quality assurance and continuous improvement processes.
