About the Role:

Tubi seeks a Paralegal to support our legal team. Our General Counsel leads the Tubi Legal department, which includes 22 attorneys, organized into 5 different teams, who support the business; a legal operations team; and a standards and practices team. The Tubi legal department is fast-paced, challenging, collaborative, and strives to be an excellent partner to our fellow Tubies. This position will report to our Senior Manager, Legal Operations.  

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting and redlining commercial contracts, including but not limited to NDAs, SOWs, and MSAs
  • Assist in reviewing, proofing, and/or summarizing agreements
  • Prepare agreements for signature and ensure their smooth execution via DocuSign
  • File and maintain contracts and other documents in our contracts lifecycle management system
  • Support activities related to the intake and review of legal deliverables
  • Create, maintain, and update contract workflows for various business verticals, including managing and updating templates with direction from attorneys
  • Develop, manage, and streamline contract lifecycles (e.g., collaborating with multiple departments to broker efficiencies across various internal stakeholders)
  • Interface with multiple teams to assist the legal team’s efforts in the preparation, implementation and optimization of technology, forms, processes, and procedures
  • Provide support to the legal department on long-term projects that improve the performance and efficiencies of the legal team
  • Assist in the creation of presentation materials and with other special projects as requested
  • Keep attorneys and business stakeholders informed of the completion of assignments

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years as a paralegal with an in-house legal department, preferably in the media sector
  • Paralegal certificate from an accredited program or an equivalent combination of skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word for Mac, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Gmail, iManage, DocMinder, AirTable, Docusign, Ironclad and other legal department software
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities, in a face-paced environment
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight
  • Highly effective communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters
  • Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively with others

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is listed annually below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, long-term incentive plan, and various benefits including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.

California and Seattle, WA Compensation

Base ($83,000 to $119,000 / year) + Bonus + Long-Term Incentive Plan + Benefits

Colorado and Washington (excluding Seattle, WA) Compensation

Base ($76,000 to $108,000 / year) + Bonus + Long-Term Incentive Plan + Benefits
