Position Purpose:

The Digital Health Advisor is a member of the HIMSS Digital Health Advisory community responsible for driving the global health ecosystem forward by supporting healthcare providers’ digital health transformation journeys through the adoption of HIMSS digital health solutions.  They are responsible for contributing to maturity model validations and advisory services, coordinating and cultivating the validatory community, providing direct support to the Digital Health Technology Partnership community, contributing to thought leadership resources including the regular creation of case studies highlighting client outcomes, and leading community knowledge share and education while providing mentorship to Specialist and Associate roles. 

 

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Engagement level financial accountability, including schedule and revenue recognition responsibility.
  • Contribute to maturity model validations and advisory services delivery.
  • Coordinate, engage, and support the validator community.
  • Providing direct support to the Digital Health Technology Partnership community.
  • Conduct gap assessments (interpretation of generated results and communication of findings to client).
  • Maintain and contribute to customer request for information (RFI) and request for proposal (RFP) materials in collaboration with leadership and advisory team.
  • Administer the digital health and maturity model assessment and project management tools.
  • Own the creation and maintenance of training materials associated with the use of assessment tools and standard templates to conduct advisory and validation services.
  • Coordinate and support Office of Scientific Research projects as assigned.
  • Contribute to thought leadership resources including contributions to the market intelligence portfolio, the creation of quarterly case studies highlighting client outcomes, and leading conference events and presentations.
  • Interprets internal or external business issues and recommend solutions/best practices, using automated tools and solutions
  • Leads coordination and project management of complex advisory projects that may be complex in nature or requires coordination across the team or other departments.
What you will need to be successful::
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8-12 years of experience in a healthcare related field.
  • 2-4 years consulting or advisory experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong project management and client service delivery skills
  • Strong decision-making, analytical, problem solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office product suite.
  • Experience with Client Relationship Management (CRMs) is preferred (ex. Salesforce).
