Head of International Marketing

Expand Groq’s Global Presence and Drive Regional Growth

Mission: 

Groq is redefining AI inference with our groundbreaking LPU, making AI faster, more efficient, and more accessible than ever before. We are seeking an exceptional Director of International Marketing to expand Groq’s global presence, localize marketing strategies, and drive regional adoption in key international markets.

In this role, you will develop and execute regional marketing strategies that align with Groq’s global brand while adapting to local market needs, cultural nuances, and business landscapes. You will work closely with Sales, Integrated Marketing, Growth, and Product Marketing to ensure cohesive, high-impact international campaigns that support both developer adoption and enterprise expansion.

This is a unique opportunity to lead Groq’s global growth efforts, bringing AI acceleration to new markets while working alongside some of the brightest minds in AI hardware and software.

Responsibilities & opportunities in this role:

  • Develop & Execute Regional Marketing Strategies → Build localized marketing plans that align with Groq’s global vision while addressing regional market dynamics.
  • Drive Demand in Key International Markets → Partner with Sales and Growth Marketing to generate developer adoption and enterprise leads.
  • Lead Regional Campaigns & Partnerships → Work with local agencies, influencers, and partners to amplify Groq’s brand in international regions.
  • Localize Brand & Product Messaging → Adapt Groq’s positioning, campaigns, and content to resonate with target markets.
  • Support International Events & PR → Collaborate with Integrated Marketing and Communications to ensure Groq has a strong presence at industry events and media opportunities abroad.
  • Measure & Optimize Regional Performance → Track market penetration, campaign effectiveness, and regional adoption trends to refine strategy.

Ideal candidates have/are:

  • 8+ years of experience in international marketing, regional demand generation, or go-to-market strategy.
  • A track record of successfully launching and scaling marketing efforts in global markets.
  • Deep experience in localization, cultural adaptation, and regional campaign execution.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills—working with Sales, Marketing, and local partners to drive adoption.
  • Knowledge of AI, developer ecosystems, or enterprise technology marketing.
  • Experience managing regional agencies, influencers, and PR efforts.
What Success Looks Like
First 90 Days:
  • Develop a regional marketing framework for key international markets.
  • Align with Sales and Marketing on regional priorities and go-to-market plans.
  • Identify and onboard local agency partners to execute marketing programs.
By Month 6:
  • Launch localized marketing campaigns that drive developer and enterprise adoption.
  • Build a repeatable model for international growth that can scale across markets.
  • Establish a regional events and partnerships strategy to increase Groq’s presence.
By Month 12:
  • Scale Groq’s international brand presence and market penetration.
  • Drive measurable adoption growth in priority global markets.
  • Ensure Groq is recognized as a key player in AI acceleration worldwide.
