We are actively looking for a Competency Lead to join our Data Management team! This position will be responsible for leading/growing some of our most complex PIM project engagements. You will be working with a team of talented developers, leads, SME’s, and architects to tackle important problems and resolve complex issues for some of the best companies and most recognizable brands on the Internet. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and client service to be successful. As the day-to-day “face” of the Data Management team on an engagement not only will you be managing the Data Management delivery, but you will serve as a “partner” with our clients, working collaboratively to address current challenges and looking ahead to tackle future needs. You will be working in a distributed environment and must be proactive, reaching out to co-workers and clients on a regular basis. On occasion you may be asked to travel on-site for client workshops and other requirements.

Information Security ResponsibilitiesPromote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocolsIdentify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assetsUnderstand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive informationRole and ResponsibilitiesLead internal team by directing the methodology, approach, solution and reviewing the quality of deliverablesIdentify issues, take action, and adjust course as necessaryAchieve buy-in and drive decision-making with clientsTechnical and strategic execution across the account (how PIM fits into the broader client ecosystem)Ownership mentality of delivery and client successHas both the technical and business experience and expertise to drive a complex transformation, with PIM at the coreSupports the client in advising on strategic issues of greater business significance - changes to approach, collaboration with other project teams and stakeholders at the e-commerce program levelLead the client by presenting ideas and solutions to problems, building client trust, and becoming the strategic advisor for delivering a PIM solution in our client's unique organization structure and e-commerce technical ecosystem
Preferred Qualifications:Experience engaging with senior stakeholders within client organizations.Experience leading technical and non-technical delivery teams.Experience mentoring junior team members.Actively participated in scalable website and web application developmentExperience with developing estimates and pitch proposals in conjunction with Business Development.Hands-on experience with rich web front-end development frameworks and patterns – CSS, Html, JavaScript, RWD, PWA, React, Angular, HTML5Hands-on experience designing/developing/consuming APIs (REST, GraphQL)Hands-on experience working with relational databases and writing advanced SQLRequire minimal supervision and provide oversight for assigned projects
