Director Product Planning - Payments Solutions (Remote)

Full-time, United Kingdom

At BCD Travel, our product and technology teams are focused on transforming the $1.6T corporate travel market through the launch of new digital, mobile, and data solutions. This role will be at the center of re-imagining corporate travel, payment, and expense solutions for B2B clients globally and building the next generation of payment and expense solutions in this exciting role. We are looking for an experienced payments or fintech professional to help lead and manage payment solutions here at BCD Travel. This leader will work closely with cross-functional teams, such as Finance, Strategic Operations, Support, and Marketing to define payment strategies and deliver enhancements and innovative solutions. As part of the Product Planning and Development organization, the Director will have a team available to evaluate product performance, market needs, and opportunities and will work closely alongside product marketing to package new services fit for market introduction.

As a Director Product Planning - Payments Solutions, you will

  • Define and drive strategy and roadmap for Payment Solutions. Align closely with functional partners (Finance, Strategic Ops, Product Planning, Success Team)
  • Communicate strategies, roadmaps, prioritization/tradeoffs, and workshops with clients on emerging payment trends
  • Identify customer challenges and propose innovative solutions to enhance or expand payment offerings
  • Measure the success of Payments Solutions and make data-driven decisions to improve product capabilities and performance
  • Manage product lifecycles from concept, through go-to-market and beyond (retirement). Define offering – standards and SLAs. Ensure enhancements or new capabilities are delivered timely, with quality, and within budget
  • Investigate processes, identify challenges, and propose solutions
  • Partner cross-functionally to develop solutions that meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders

About You

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, or a related field, Master’s preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous Product Management experience at a payments or financial services company
  • Deep understanding of issuer capabilities, emerging payment solutions such as mobile/B2B wallets, tokens, Vcards, and merchant payment processes
  • You have an understanding of new payment and expense solution providers such as Brex, Ramp, Mesh, Blocksky, etc
  • Must be comfortable taking a leadership role in a matrix organization
  • In-depth experience in API integrations, infrastructure, and embedded products
