The Emerging Solutions Product Strategy Director will be focused on Emerging PBM Strategy. This director will have responsibility for product strategy development and refinement of existing network product solutions for Express Scripts/Evernorth while also driving new strategy and innovation tied to network solutions. This will include regulated market network solutions, commercial network solutions, performance networks, and emerging opportunities rooted in networks. This individual will lead a team to optimize product performance, grow product sales, develop new solutions, collaborate with marketing on creation of market facing materials, and coordination with product operations, data, technology, and operations teams on the creation and management of product solutions.
This leadership role reports to the Senior Director of Emerging Solutions Product Strategy, an integral part of the PBM and Supply Chain Product organization of Express Scripts, with responsibility to drive connected solutions across our Evernorth platform (medical, behavioral, pharmacy, care solutions and care delivery). This individual will collaborate and influence across the network product teams and other product leaders to ensure we are delivering high value solutions to the market for our clients and patients while helping the company achieve growth and financial objectives. Responsibilities also include vendor related contract management, business development and presenting our solutions and strategies to all levels of leadership, account management and external clients and vendors.
Essential Functions
· Network Solution Strategy, Innovation & Development: Understand, design, and deliver the product strategy and solutions that can deliver value into the market both within the Pharmacy benefit, including specialty medications.
· Facilitate and partner with peers and leadership to develop and deliver the solution roadmap that enables our strategic and business imperatives. Assess market trends, needs, and value drivers that present opportunities for Express Scripts/Evernorth to deliver improved affordability, choice, and engagement for our customers.
· Influence the overall strategic direction of the Pharmacy Benefits business at Express Scripts/Evernorth, including its impact across all client segments, driving more affordable total healthcare and improved health outcomes.
· Facilitate and partner with cross-functional partners to ensure effective solutions and strategies are supported within enterprise and with account management/clients to deliver on key metrics and product performance guarantees.
· Advocate, internally and externally, and advance Express Scripts/Evernorth’s unique, integrated value proposition across all product solutions and features.
· Be a visible change agent in the market to drive better alignment and outcome amongst stakeholders in the broader Pharmacy ecosystem while also enabling the ability to align internally to execute and deliver value based on priority.
· P&L approach: Share accountability with leadership for solution penetration, return on capital investments and overall earnings contribution.

Qualifications & Experience
· At least 8 years industry experience solving business problems with Bachelor’s degree strongly desired; advanced degree preferred with emphasis on Business Leadership competencies
· Product development and management experience (end to end).
· Pharmacy network experience and experience working with clients required
· Proven track record of driving profitable earnings growth and innovation.
· Demonstrated thought leadership on challenging problems with examples of implementing innovative analytic solutions and driving outstanding results.
· Proven ability to work collaboratively in complex matrix organizations and agile teams.
· Blend creativity, relentless problem-solving, business acumen, and leadership to drive innovation through analytics working with Innovation team.
· Ability to manage a vision and purpose with various business stakeholders and analytics teams.
· Effective leadership, prioritization and management of complex deliverable portfolio in a dynamic environment.
· Direct working experience in the healthcare environment, with strong knowledge and experience working with pharmacy benefits.
· A strategic orientation; able to create a compelling strategy and drive through implementation.
