Job description

Specialist III, Practicum Placements

The target hiring range for this position is $29-$33 hourly.

Position Summary

Specialist IV, Practicum Placement will support practicum placements by determining placements, clearances, and communication based on site-specific requirements. Initiating communication with current and new sites. Creating cross functional communication pathways with partnerships, Experiential Learning, and Credentialing to maintain an understanding of partnership, learner, and business needs.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Provides outreach to learners regarding placement needs until resolution is achieved
  • Provides timely verifications for requested information and documents
  • Provides real-time updates to credentialing regarding learner compliance
  • Participates in the successful implementation of other functional projects as they arise
  • Attends cross functional meeting to provide support to fellow collaborators
  • Provides onboarding communication and assistance to learners and Specialist I
  • Cascades changes and updates through all appropriate channels of communication regarding rotation changes
  • Complete weekly meetings with counterpart to ensure learner clearance
  • Utilizes technology cross functional to support consistency in communication and data integrity
  • Completes outreach to obtain placements for new and existing partners.
  • Continues communication with partners that have indicated interest based on the leads from Experiential Learning Placements
  • Maintains communication with new and current sites to build and support partnership satisfaction
  • Monitors learner geographic location in relationship to their practicum placement
  • Utilizes the partner portal to support consistency in communication
  • Completes daily audits of placements to identify any needs for immediate adjustment
  • Follows operating processes per function instructional guide
  • Participates in the successful implementation of other functional projects as they arise
  • Complete weekly meetings with counterpart to ensure 100% rotation compliancy

Qualifications And Education Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or an associate degree with additional certification is required
  • A minimum of one year of experience processing applications and credentialing in an education or healthcare environment is required
  • A minimum of one year of experience in staffing and scheduling is required
  • Demonstrated experience producing professional communication and correspondence is required
  • Demonstrated experience providing a high standard of customer service
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite products is required
  • Demonstrated experience with Customer Relationship Management software required
