Job Summary:

We are a forward-thinking organization looking for a creative and talented Graphic Designer to join our team. We are a global company headquartered in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. This role is based in India and will primarily involve independent work, with some collaboration with a team operating in the Eastern Time zone (UTC -5). While most tasks can be completed asynchronously, some flexibility in scheduling may be necessary to align with critical discussions and key meetings. 

How You Will Make an Impact: 

  • Graphic Design: Create visually compelling graphics, illustrations, and layouts for various digital and print media, including marketing materials, advertising, social media, presentations, and brand assets. 
  • Production: Produce designs from concept to completion, including final print-ready, or digital exported files. 
  • Web Design: Design user-centered website layouts, wireframes, and prototypes with a focus on functionality, accessibility, and seamless user experiences. 
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all design work aligns with our brand identity, guidelines, and messaging. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and development, to execute projects from concept to completion. 
  • UI/UX Design: Collaborate on user interface and user experience design to enhance usability and engagement on digital platforms. 
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Develop innovative design solutions that meet project objectives and resonate with our target audience. 
  • Inspiration: Follow industry best practices, stay informed of new trends, technologies, and look for continuous inspiration for increasing effectiveness. 
  • Process: Follow Marketing process for assigning work, collaborating, and delivering the final product to key project owners or suppliers. 

 What You'll Bring to the Role: 

  • Experience: 4+ years of professional graphic design experience. 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field. 
  • Examples of work: An inspiring portfolio that demonstrates experience, proficiency, and creativity. 
  • Technical Skills: 
    • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma. 
    • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and web design principles  
  • Design Expertise: Strong grasp of typography, color theory, layout design, and branding. 
  • Digital Design: Understanding of user experience key principles and experience working with a team of developers. 
  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to deliver high-quality work with keen attention to detail. 
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to present ideas effectively and collaborate with team members. 
  • Approach: Ability to work independently based on briefing documents, direction and collaborative tools. 
  • Results-oriented: Ability to identify opportunities to strategically elevate designs for better performance. 
  • Innovation: Continuously seek out new strategies, compelling approaches, and trends with a “be bold” mindset. 
  • Collaboration: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels. 
  • Time Management: Strong ability to manages multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high quality. 
  • Flexibility: Willing and able to flex schedule as needed to accommodate meetings with teams in other time zones.
