Energizer is seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst, Global Compliance Risk Management, to join our Legal Department. Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Global Ethics & Compliance, this role offers a dynamic and impactful career path for a professional eager to make a significant contribution across multiple areas of responsibility. As a Senior Analyst, you will work independently on various projects, interacting with global colleagues at all levels. This fully remote position demands the highest attention to detail, exceptional writing quality, strong communication skills, and effective relationship building. You will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to drive our global compliance risk management initiatives.

Specific Accountabilities

The Senior Analyst, Global Compliance Risk Management will be instrumental in developing and managing our global compliance risk management program. This role ensures adherence to the company’s ethical standards and compliance policies while mitigating risks in line with global regulatory requirements and industry practices. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders across the organization to create efficient business processes and workflows that address third-party compliance risks, including anti-corruption, trade sanctions, conflicts of interest and modern slavery. They will work closely with business owners to implement effective risk management strategies and maintain a broad knowledge of third-party risks, trends, and industry standards through continuous education.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Compliance Framework Development and Maintenance
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive third-party compliance risk management framework, including policies, procedures, and templates
  • Ensure alignment of the framework with relevant global regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Support cross-functional third-party risk management initiatives that drive process improvement and automation
  • Third-Party Risk Assessment
  • Maintain risk assessment methodologies and perform ad-hoc and ongoing compliance risk assessments
  • Collaborate with Procurement on supply chain mapping to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks
  • Conduct due diligence and screening on third parties to identify and assess compliance risks
  • Evaluate third-party practices and controls to ensure compliance with ethical and responsible sourcing
  • Risk Monitoring and Mitigation
  • Continuously monitor third-party activities and performance to identify emerging risks
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to addresses identified compliance issues
  • Track third party corrective action efforts and ensure timely resolution
  • Audits and Incident Response
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance and formalize an audit program to ensure ethical and social compliance in operations and the supply chain
  • Investigate and respond to non-compliance issues and audit findings
  • Training and Continuous Improvement
  • Develop training and communication plans for compliance risk management activities
  • Deliver training on new processes for all relevant stakeholders
  • Develop and update policies and procedures, including the Supplier Code of Conduct
  • Data Management
  • Manage data analytics for third-party assessments, including engaging with third parties and ensuring thorough follow-ups
  • Develop trending analytics, heatmaps, key performance indicators, key risk indicators, and other metrics to measure and assess compliance risks
  • Synthesize insights into concise presentations to support objectives and ensure risk awareness
  • Additional duties may be assigned on an as needed basis

What we are looking for

Required Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or other applicable discipline
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a project management or similar support role in a corporate setting
  • Previous experience in an ethics, compliance and/or legal department a plus
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and able to manage time efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal skills; team player with ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels
  • High degree of initiative requiring little or no supervision, have great organizational skills, sound judgment and the ability to prioritize assignments, solve problems, and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work in a timely fashion in a fast-paced work environment
  • Proven ability to maintain discretion and /or confidentiality.

Preferred Skills And Experience

  • Compliance certification, e.g., CCEP or equivalent, a plus
  • Knowledge of social compliance standards such as Sedex or RBA
  • Prior experience with ethics & compliance technology platforms
