Business Development Representative (BDR)

Position Summary:

We seek a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will identify and create new qualified sales opportunities for the sales team. The BDR is crucial in driving revenue growth by prospecting, qualifying leads, and building relationships with potential clients.


What will you be doing

Lead Prospecting & Outreach

  • Research and identify potential leads through various channels (cold calling, emails, social media, events, etc.)
  • Generate and qualify outbound leads by engaging with decision-makers and understanding their needs

Pipeline Development

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality leads for the sales team by meeting daily and monthly lead-generation goals
  • Leverage tools such as CRM software, email marketing tools, and prospecting platforms to track and manage leads effectively

Client Engagement

  • Initiate conversations with prospective customers through calls, emails, LinkedIn, or any other platform to introduce the company's offerings
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client challenges, pain points, and needs

Collaboration with Sales Teams

  • Schedule qualified meetings or demos for the sales team members
  • Provide detailed notes and insights on prospects to the sales team to optimize the sales process

Metrics & Reporting

  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics for lead generation and qualified leads
  • Track and report outreach activities and lead progress in CRM tools


Qualifications

Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field (internships or early-career roles are welcomed)
  • Experience with CRM and sales automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach) is a plus

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport quickly
  • Proactive, resourceful, and willing to take the initiative
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Resilience and the ability to handle rejection professionally
  • Fluent in English. Another language is an advantage
