Company Overview:

Digital Placement is a staffing and recruiting company.

Role and Responsibilities:

The firmware developer will be responsible for the development of variable frequency drives and will collaborate with global/local R&D and product management teams. They should demonstrate solid competency in embedded C++/C programming and design concepts, have a strong collaboration within the R&D community, and align with agile software development principles. Additionally, they should demonstrate a strong commitment to quality culture in R&D, innovation and challenging the current situations. Most importantly, the person should live by ABB’s core values of safety and integrity.

Candidate Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/master’s degree in electronics, electrical engineering or a related field with 3 to 5 years of experience in embedded SW programming on C++. Experience with debugging tools such as IAR and equivalent, unit testing, working in agile teams, and strong understanding of agile ways of working, CI/CD processes, Jenkins or equivalent tool.
