• Experience working with undergraduate admissions policies and procedures
• Experience, education or training in project management
• CRM system expertise, preferably Salesforce
• Experience as a Salesforce Administrator

Job Description:

As a Systems Analyst III, you'll lead and mentor a team while managing and optimizing the Salesforce CRM system for the Office of Admissions. Your role involves creating and enforcing system procedures, collaborating with campus partners and vendors, and developing solutions to improve system performance and reliability. You'll act as the subject matter expert, providing training and support, and overseeing CRM governance meetings. Additionally, you'll design and implement system updates, manage user roles and data governance, and create communication campaigns, reports, and dashboards to support recruitment efforts. Effective project management and documentation are also key aspects of this position.

Example of Duties

• Develops system logic to achieve optimum throughput.

• Prepares and conducts system and programming tests for Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related CRM software.

• Reviews potential applications that interact with CRM.

• Works on assignments that are generally of a difficult technical nature and may involve project leadership activities.

• Collects and writes technical requirements for new systems.

• Designs, implements, maintains and supports enterprise systems infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, software and services.

• Troubleshoots complex problems involving multiple systems and working with vendor support to implement fixes.

• Interfaces with network, security, identity, and support teams to develop sustainable solutions for campus use.

• Provide end-user support and training and interact with stakeholders with a varying levels of technical skills.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.  

Level Guidelines

• Senior-level position possessing high-level professional and/or technical skills working independently under minimal supervision to support ISU’s mission and department or work unit goals

• Applies senior-level professional knowledge and expertise to work requiring greater latitude

• Solves moderately complex problems and regularly exercises judgment to determine appropriate action

• Regularly exercises judgment to resolve problems and determine appropriate action on a broad set of issue and problems. May provide recommendations regarding problems/issues outside the bounds of defined procedures and practices

• Responds to complicated inquiries, provides training, and provides direction to lower-level staff

• May provide supervision for one to two other staff (i.e., leads a small work team)

• May lead projects for which well-defined practices and procedures may not exist

• Provides guidance to students
