Role: Sales Development Representative

Work Arrangement: Fully remote, overlapping EST working hours

Job Type: Independent Contractor, Full-time

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, US-based or overlapping with US business hours.

Locations: Remote, open to candidates in the Philippines

Role Overview:

The SDR will be responsible for:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identifying and qualifying potential clients through research, outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Client Engagement: Conducting initial conversations with prospects, understanding their needs, and effectively positioning the company’s offerings.
  • Appointment Setting: Scheduling meetings for the sales team by engaging decision-makers and nurturing relationships.
  • CRM Management: Updating and maintaining accurate records in the company’s CRM (Notion).
  • Market Research & Analysis: Staying informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and client pain points to enhance outreach efforts.
  • Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Working closely with internal teams to refine messaging, improve outreach strategies, and ensure alignment between marketing efforts and sales objectives.

This role directly contributes to revenue growth by ensuring a consistent pipeline of qualified leads and supporting the overall sales function with high-quality engagements.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in sales development, preferably in healthcare, SaaS, or B2B sales
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to handle objections and think on their feet during conversations
  • Proficiency in CRM tools like Notion
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organized
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience in healthcare tech or working with medical professionals
  • Familiarity with sales automation tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft)
  • A track record of exceeding quotas in an SDR or BDR role
