Job Description

As a Project Accountant, you’ll be the financial backbone of our construction projects, wielding your expertise in project-based accounting and ERP systems to drive success. You’ll manage the intricate financial details of multiple projects, from invoice processing to budget analysis, ensuring every dollar is accounted for and optimized. Your insights will be crucial in guiding project managers and stakeholders, making you an indispensable part of our growth strategy. Responsibilities

• Spearhead project-based accounting using Procore and QuickBooks Online
  
• Process and verify project invoices, ensuring alignment with purchase orders
  
• Conduct monthly cost controls and budgeting analysis using advanced Excel techniques
  
• Perform detailed project-level accounting, tracking financials from billing to payment
  
• Collaborate with project managers on financial reporting and strategic decision-making
  
• Ensure seamless data integration between Procore and QuickBooks Online
  
• Generate and analyze comprehensive financial reports for construction projects
  
• Develop and implement financial best practices to optimize project profitability
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  
• 2+ years of experience in project accounting, preferably in construction
  
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills
  
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, Procore experience a plus
  
• Strong grasp of accounting principles in project-based environments
  
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  
• Self-starter with excellent remote collaboration skills
  
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a global team
  
• Willingness to align work hours with US Pacific Time Zone
