Job description

Role Overview
Reporting to the IT Service Team Lead, the Application Support Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation, onboarding, and maintenance of A&H applications. This role provides Level 1 support for internal client-server applications, external cloud services, and SaaS applications. The ideal candidate will monitor production systems, handle troubleshooting, and collaborate with teams to optimize performance and security.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT and software application support.
  • Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • English proficiency: B2+/C1.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills with previous experience in a Level 1 support role.
  • Experience in cybersecurity compliance, including completing security checklists for new and existing applications.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products and services, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Experience managing SSO configuration and testing for new applications.
  • Strong understanding of SQL queries and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to coordinate role-based access controls and manage user authorization.
  • Knowledge of desktop virtualization technologies such as Citrix and VMware.
  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud, GCP, and DevOps practices using GitHub.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive mindset.
