The position of R+IQ Sales Development Specialist will be based Remote!
Summary
The R+IQ Sales Development Specialist is responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and supporting the sales team in achieving their targets.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media
- Conduct research to identify potential clients and key decision-makers within target organizations
- Nurture and manage leads through the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and engagement
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and demos for the sales team with qualified leads
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and interactions in the CRM system
- Provide regular reports on lead generation and sales activities to the sales manager
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve sales techniques
- Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need
- High School or GED
- Bachelor's Degree in a technology driven discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology preferred
- Experience in industrial sales would be an asset
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proven experience in sales development or a similar role, preferably in the SaaS industry
- Strong understanding of SaaS products and services
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Ability to sell services in addition to developing strong customer and integrator relationships
- Strong interpersonal communications, analytical and problem solving, and written/verbal communication skills required
- Ability to learn processes and concepts and to understand technical functions quickly
- Ability to foster open dialogue and extend collaboration with other internal and external stakeholders
