The RAVE department at Mapbox is a crucial division responsible for acquiring, processing, and delivering high-quality location-oriented data to enable internal and external Customers who use Mapbox maps and Navigation.
The RAVE Department at Mapbox provides a globally validated, up-to-date Mapbox Streets basemap; an engaging feedback experience for over 350K+ users and drivers; generates hundreds thousands of high quality corrections to offer the best map data to power navigation for people, packages, and vehicles globally.
Reporting directly to the Head of Data RAVE, work with a passionate group of approximately 200 Mapboxers, including Managers, overseeing human resource management.
Supports the Head of Data RAVE in identifying areas for process improvement, by gathering data and feedback.
Analyze and provide the Head of Data RAVE with recommendations to existing operational processes, audit established KPIs, improve organizational processes/workflows/metrics and implement necessary changes.
Create, manage, and deliver performance goals for the teams (aligning with the Head of Data RAVE) while providing clear updates of achieved results.
Coach and train the Managers with the best business methods, tools and solutions which help to ensure efficient task execution, goal achievement and excellent organizational culture.
Partner closely with Recruiting and HR to solve employee-related questions and to ensure the employees are getting the best employee experience.
Enhancing RAVE’s cross teams collaboration and initiatives, office sprints, etc.
Create operation strategies and policies related to optimization and minimizing expenses.
5+ years of leadership: You have managed and grown diverse organizations of operational teams.
Bachelor’s degree.
Fluency in Russian, English (B1-B2).
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Relative comfort with ambiguity and the ability to maneuver effectively amid rapidly evolving priorities and workflows.
Data guides your decisions and is used to continuously improve your purview: extensive and direct experience in using and managing data to deliver outsized impact.
Experience partnering with HR to address and resolve employee-related questions and concerns effectively.
