Your Impact

The Senior Manager, DG O&M Services will oversee the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of Distributed Generation (DG) renewable energy systems. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of DG assets through proactive maintenance strategies, operational optimization, and coordination with cross-functional teams. The Senior Manager will lead a team of technicians, provide strategic direction for O&M activities, and ensure that all projects meet safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of O&M strategies for DG assets across the portfolio, ensuring maximum uptime and performance.
  • Manage a team of O&M technicians, and contractors, providing leadership, guidance, and technical expertise.
  • Develop and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance plans to minimize downtime and extend the life cycle of DG systems.
  • Oversee troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for DG systems, addressing any issues that affect performance.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the construction and commissioning teams to transition new DG assets into O&M phase seamlessly.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and environmental requirements, as well as internal safety protocols.
  • Work closely with customers and stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction and effective communication of performance metrics.
  • Manage O&M budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring alignment with financial and operational objectives.
  • Lead root cause analysis for failures, implementing corrective actions, and developing best practices for system maintenance.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members to promote career development and technical skill growth.

Core Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in the renewable energy industry, with a focus on O&M of DG systems.
  • Proven experience in managing O&M teams, leading projects, and implementing maintenance strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems in DG assets (solar, wind, etc.).
  • Familiarity with SCADA, monitoring software, and data analytics tools for performance analysis.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and safety standards within the renewable energy industry.
  • Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and O&M management software (e.g., SAP, Maximo, or similar platforms).



  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Professional certifications such as PMP, CEM, or NABCEP.
    • Experience with solar, wind, or other distributed generation technologies.
    • Advanced knowledge of asset management strategies, performance optimization, and reliability engineering.
    • Journeymen or Master Electrician.
