Primary Purpose

The HRIS Specialist is responsible for managing day-to-day transactions within the HRIS (primarily ADP Workforce Now), while ensuring data accuracy and fulfilling reporting requests. This role will support the Senior HRIS Analyst and the broader HR team by maintaining system integrity, generating reports, and assisting with process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • HRIS Data Management:
    • Perform accurate and timely data entry for employee records, including new hires, terminations, transfers, and other updates in ADP Workforce Now and Costpoint.
    • Regularly audit HRIS data to identify and correct discrepancies.
    • Ensure data workflows and approvals are completed promptly.

  • Reporting and Analytics:
    • Generate and distribute standard and custom HR and payroll reports as requested.
    • Support the preparation of reports for compliance, audits, and internal review.
    • Collaborate with the Senior HRIS Analyst to provide insights into HR metrics and trends.

  • System Support:
    • Assist in the testing and implementation of updates or new features in ADP Workforce Now.
    • Troubleshoot basic system issues and escalate complex concerns as necessary.
    • Maintain accurate documentation for system processes and configurations.

  • Collaboration and Support:
    • Serve as the primary contact for HRIS-related inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
    • Work with payroll, benefits, and HR teams to ensure data alignment and accuracy across systems.
    • Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned by the Senior HRIS Analyst.
  • Other ad hoc job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with ADP Workforce Now at an administrator level.
  • Preferred education and experience:
    • 2-5 years’ experience supporting global HR operations for a mid-size company, with multi-national presence across North America, Latin America, Europe, India, & Asia Pacific regions.
    • Experience working in a fully remote role with geographically dispersed team members.
    • Experience with Costpoint
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken. Multi-lingual preferred.
