About The Opportunity
The Senior consultant uses programming skills and knowledge of customer business challenges to provide outstanding service to the Ellucian Managed Services client community. A senior consultant will make the right use of the tools available to assist our customers in an efficient way.
The work ranges from software troubleshooting and break/fix support up to full application development and spans many areas including applications, integrations and reporting, and collaborating with multiple teams to complete assignments. This is a customer-facing position that requires good consulting skills.

Consulting with client to prototype, refine, test, and debug applications.
Analyzing code to find causes of errors and revises programs.
Applying design and programming skills across all application tiers to develop and test application, changes, interfaces, reports, and scripts.
Providing technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about applications. Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise applications.
Providing high-quality customer Technical consultation and support to Ellucian’s Banner products such as Ethos, Banner Extensibility, Ellucian Experience, Ethos Data connect, Banner Self Service, etc.

What You Will Bring
3-5 years of experience as a front-end developer with tech stack ReactJS, NodeJS, ES5/ES6 JavaScript.
1-3 years of experience consuming REST APIs.
Experience with REST API clients such Bruno, Postman, Insomnia, etc.
2-3 years of experience with System integrations (inbound/outbound).
Experience with GIT or any other version controller.
Desirable Experience with GraphQL
Desirable experience with PostgreSQL , and Oracle PLSQL.
Customer service and/or consulting experience required.
Desirable knowledge with any HELP Desk or ticketing system.
Desirable knowledge with any Business process management/ Workflow tools like Process Maker, etc..
Strong analytical and communications skills required (English)
