We are looking for: 
 
We are hiring a Technical Writer to support our team on a temporary basis.
 
As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging social content that gets published to various platforms (X, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). Our Technical Writers can quickly pick up on social media best practices, client/audience needs, the voice and tone of the accounts they support - and they take all these factors into consideration when composing social media posts and securing client approvals. They thrive when working cross-functionally, and enjoy collaborating with experts across many different departments. They are excellent writers with innovative ideas that bring social media campaigns to life.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Proactively develop and execute social-first content, tying back to strategies set by marketing managers, for our client's developer-focused social media platforms (X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook), meeting or exceeding quarterly targets while applying best practices.
  • Write clear, accurate, on-brand, and engaging social copy
  • Create and optimize social media assets, including graphics, images (like GIFs) utilizing Kapwing
  • Leverage social listening and data analysis to identify trends, inform content, and optimize campaign performance
  • Potentially support live and virtual events, including developing social media content 
  • Work cross functionally (with Project management, Video, Design, etc.) to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of content
  • Attend regular Social team meetings, including a weekly SCRUM
 
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Exceptional written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail on every assignment
  • Proficiency and innovative thinking in creating engaging content
  • Ability to complete up to 7 posts per day across 3 different product areas
  • Ability to work independently and proactively to solve complex problems that involve multiple stakeholders
  • A passion for engaging with the developer ecosystem and learning about new technologies
  • Deep understanding of the developer community and their needs and preferences
  • An understanding of software technologies and web/app development
  • Comfortable writing copy for an audience of millions
  • Desire to work on a creative, collaborative, and data-driven team
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive insights from data
  • Experience using Google Workspace
  • Demonstrated ability to work calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced environments
 
Compensation: 
 
The compensation range for this temporary role is $110,000 - $130,000 (prorated based on project length). This role is not eligible for benefits.
