We have an excellent opportunity for a Prospect Acquisition Associate. This individual will be focused on sales production and will be responsible for the confirmation and qualification of prospective clients attending our in-person and online events. We are looking for someone to help us schedule qualified prospects with advisors and help us facilitate a best-in-class prospect experience throughout the top-of-the-funnel journey.
This is a remote role with associated travel up to 20%.
In the spirit of pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $40,000 exclusive of benefits and incentive pay which can total up to $20,000 (capped). Job Functions
Confirm and Qualify Prospective Clients
Conduct a minimum of 100 calls per day, utilizing automated voicemails when necessary
Make confirmation/qualification calls to corporate employees and retirees for online and in-person seminars
Successfully learn and implement the “WEG” sales style; using open-ended questions to better understand prospect needs and enhance engagement
Participate in various initial and ongoing training exercises to better develop your sales professionalism, production and ability to overcome objections
Proactively schedule prospects for future seminars and/or schedule a meeting with an advisor
Handle Salesforce data entry for scheduled opportunities
Receive inbound calls and schedule meetings efficiently
Provide outstanding service and understanding of prospective client needs
Ability to take calls during some weekend mornings, when marketing campaigns require
Partner with Marketing team
Partners with greater Marketing org to understand and leverage WEG’s brand and content to improve prospect communication and results
Understands and can clearly articulate current marketing campaigns and events to prospective clients
Understands and intelligently communicates WEG’s value proposition and service offerings (planning, investment options; insurance, tax, etc.) to prospects
Has general knowledge of financial planning industry and stays current on markets trends and educational information
Executes on Processes and Procedures
Follows all team processes to the best of their ability and actively communicates any confusion or issues
Logs all activity accurately in the CRM system
Able to quickly learn new processes and adapt to changes in existing processes
Complies with all WEG and affiliated companies’ along with WEG’s Broker/Dealer compliance policies and procedures
Education/Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Finance, Economics or related field, preferred
Prior sales experience, preferably related to finance/financial planning, preferred
Strong phone presence with ability to clearly communicate to others
Ability to follow processes/instructions
Ability to prioritize workflow and projects; able to work with deadlines and be flexible
Ability to work as a team member; positive solution-focused attitude
Establishes trust and strong relationships with advisor teams

Travel up to 20%
