About the Role

As COO, you will be the CEO’s right-hand partner and second-in-command, ensuring that our vision and strategy translate into execution at the highest level. You will oversee and optimize business operations, create a high-performance culture, and establish a scalable operational foundation that drives efficiency, accountability, and sustained growth. Your leadership will be instrumental in aligning all teams with company objectives and ensuring seamless collaboration across departments.

For a fast growing startup like EasyLlama, the COO will have an outsized impact on our overall corporate health from influencing how we scale revenue to driving operational maturity that takes us to the next stage as a business. You will build an Operations organization to include Finance, Legal, People Ops, Revenue Operations, and Project Management functions. Our Sales, Partnership and Customer Experience organizations will also roll up into the COO as executive oversight.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop a KPI-Driven Culture: Improve upon established company-wide north star metrics framework, build reports, and provide data-driven insights to the CEO and leadership team. Track progress against operating plans and set OKRs.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead business operations as the cohesive force between revenue, product, and operations teams, ensuring all functions work together toward common company goals.

  • People & Talent Development: Work closely with People Ops to develop and implement effective talent management strategies, cultivating an engaged and high-performing workforce.

  • Own Operational Rhythms: Lead company-wide meetings, including daily revenue meetings, leadership retreats, all-hands meetings, and monthly business reviews, ensuring transparency and accountability.

  • Manage Cross-Functional Projects: Work with Project Manager to execute high-impact projects, ensuring they stay on track and deliver results. Identify blockers and drive solutions proactively.

  • Financial & Legal Oversight: Hire and work closely with finance, legal, and external advisors to ensure sound financial management, compliance, and risk mitigation.

  • Oversee Revenue Performance & Optimization: Oversee revenue performance by driving insights, accountability, and execution across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success Ops. Ensure revenue teams are optimizing processes and go-to-market strategies, scaling effectively, and identifying opportunities that drive measurable revenue outcomes.

  • Data Architecture & Visibility: Design and implement a structured data architecture that ensures clean, reliable, and accessible data across all business functions working closely with Data engineering. Provide real-time business insights to the CEO and leadership team to inform strategic decision-making and drive company-wide efficiencies.

  • P&L Ownership & Forecasting: Own financial planning, forecasting, and overall P&L management, ensuring strategic investments align with business goals and drive sustainable growth.
