Job description

Job Title: Splunk SME
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6+ months
Experience: 8+ years


JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Splunk SME around application monitoring (NOT SECURITY) for a 100% remote 6-month contract opportunity with possible extensions. This person will be responsible for identifying underlying issues within Splunk while providing the technical capabilities necessary to fix said issues.

This person would take on:
  • Taking ownership of Monitoring requirements
  • Analysis and setup of RPA templates that would include minimal monitoring output.
  • Understands the capabilities and functionality of Splunk.
  • Ability to put configuration in place to isolate and present "Actionable Events” in the monitoring dashboard.
  • Ability to train impacted teams on how to do updates and maintenance as needed.
