Role Summary
The Marketing Data Analyst will support the DCRT Marketing team by providing detailed analysis and insights of our go to market strategies and translating these insights into actionable findings to align with business goals and drive results. The candidate will be responsible for identifying the success or failure of campaigns and their tactics including; email, SEM, SEO, webinars, events, direct mail, and more. The team member will also be required to pull ad hoc reports from different internal platforms, perform data cleanup, and make recommendations to improve processes and data gathering.
This individual is required to have proven experience to significantly impact B2B marketing lead generation, conversion through the funnel, and retention results via data analysis and delivery of valuable information. Experience and know-how to guide an analytics strategy across these areas (not limited to): email, paid social, paid search, SEO, programmatic, affiliate, video, and cross-channel within a direct response environment.
You Will
Collect, analyze, report, and disseminate information for the DCRT Product Marketing team and stages of the customer journey
Partner closely with team members to build a structured approach to the analysis of our strategies and tactics including campaign performance, lead generation, pipeline impact, content performance, customer retention, and customer engagement
Manipulate and clean large data sets in excel for email communication, ad hoc reporting, and analysis
Consult and coordinate with all members of the marketing team to ensure adherence to and continuous improvement toward marketing performance measures and decision making rooted in maximizing MRR impact and return on investment
Own the consolidation of market, account, opportunity, and contact data from various internal and external data sources
Partner with the Marketing Technology and Operations team to integrate data between existing systems (Salesforce.com, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Wordpress, custom/in-house applications, etc.)
Work with stakeholders to formulate test plans, measure and analyze A/B and multivariate tests by applying proper testing principles and standards, maintain and develop templates to properly aggregate data and perform statistical testing for test analyses
Support the maintenance of analytics implementation, accuracy, and improvement of digital analytics data capture, systems, and tools
Validate the data in our reporting and analyzing systems to ensure cross-system data are accurate and align to how the business defines them
Collaborate with boundary partners, including sales, and other CAI brands, to inform on our performance and best practices
Assists in the development of presentations and documents, communicating results that align with business issues and challenges
Articulate findings to internal customers with ease
Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of CAI’s business objectives, internal platforms, and products
Must be able to learn and use digital analytics technology (i.e. Google Analytics, SQL-based databases, PowerBI, Salesforce, etc.) Must be able to work directly with vendors to resolve issues

Qualifications:
Minimum
3+ years of work experience in a B2B marketing environment analyzing data and consulting on best practices to improve results
Ability to work independently with little or no direction, strong decision-making skills and problem-solving skills
Expert in MS Excel with a clear understanding of pivot tables, functions, matching multiple data sets via ‘match’ or ‘vlookups’, cleaning and manipulating large data sets.
Deep understanding of email KPIs including, open rate*** click through rate*** click to open rate*** bounce rate*** and opt out rate*** Deep understanding of what drives these KPIs and the ability to make strategic recommendations to improve them.
In-dept knowledge of data visualization best practices and platforms like PowerBI / Tableau
Extreme attention to detail
In-dept knowledge of the B2B marketing funnel
Deep understanding of Salesforce CRM objects and data
Ability to design and improve processes based on business objectives
Strong analytical and problem-solving skillset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including; outlook, powerpoint, word
Self-starter, independently initiating and driving projects towards completion
Strong written communication and documentation skills required
Experience with paid media technology, ad serving platforms, and marketing data systems
Able to translate business objectives into measurable goals and KPIs
Able to translate technical data into a framework and language that internal marketing team members can understand
You have experience with statistical methods such as regression and hypothesis testing
You have experience analyzing data from a variety of different sources (quantitative and qualitative), and presenting the data in a clear and concise manner

And you’re comfortable being the resident data expert, helping to define for yourself and others what data makes sense to surface, how it should be gathered, and how best to display information to drive action.
